Konstantina Mitsakou
Clinical Psychologist , MA

Konstantina Mitsakou is a Clinical Psychologist with postgraduate studies in the United States in the field of Clinical Psychology and specialization in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Therapy (TF-CBT).

During her education and professional career, she has worked in demanding clinical settings both in the US and in Greece, providing psychotherapeutic support to adults, adolescents and children.

She completed her postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology (Counseling Practice) at Roosevelt University in Chicago, where she was extensively trained in psychopathology, ethical deontology, and cross-cultural sensitivity in the therapeutic relationship.

During her clinical experience in Chicago, USA, she conducted individual and group sessions with populations facing serious mental difficulties, developing skills in early crisis intervention, in the application of scientifically sound techniques and strategies related to emotional regulation and the assessment and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

She graduated from the Department of Psychology of Panteion University, holds a Minor in Communication from Deree University and her academic experience includes volunteer work at the Athens Center for the Study of Man and an internship at the 251st Air Force General Hospital where she was trained in the use of psychometric tools.

She maintains active certification in Trauma-Centered CBT from the Medical University of South Carolina, and is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).
